Going Gingham with Modcloth Parisian Picnic Skirt

I first featured this skirt about a month ago on the Spring Skirt Alert, it was a crowd favorite and I was super excited when it became available. I had to have it.   This sweet gingham print in the charming colors of pink and white is springtime perfection.

Gingham has to be one of the hottest patterns for the spring and summer and I'm kind of excited for it's arrival.  Traditionally you can find this pattern in black, red or navy, it kind of rare to see it in pink, which was another factor that drew me into this skirt. The material is lite and will catch a  breeze in a minute (seriously.....seriously)  but this is what make spring fashion so fun.  You want a breeze catching skirt that flirts with the wind. Now because I'm so into mixing prints, I had to do a spring mix for this skirt. I paired this look with a beautiful cap sleeve shirt from JCPenny; finished a bright colored clutch and nude strappy sandals.

Now, I do have a bit of bad news,  this beauty is sold out but in true Modcloth fashion if you request her they may bring her back. So please request away and I will be on the lookout for you.

Now, this is a very rare sight.  i'm wearing contacts and my Vince Camuto sunnies.  Very rare will I wear my contacts.  I actually love my glasses, but to switch things up like they say. I decided to go with my contacts.

If you haven't notice yet, I'm a bit of a geek about my festive headgear.  My season crowns are always fun to wear during the holidays.
