I Can't Just Wear All Black

Wednesday, April 17, 2013

I am the victim of loving color, but I like the basics as well.  I fell in love with this skirt again online shopping in a group on facebook.  Just a bunch of fashion lover cleaning out our closets.  This Jibri inspired print skirt had me at "Hello".  It is fun, light and perfect for this Florida weather.  I can pair it with several other top options.  Even make it causal with a jean jacket and flats......See perfect!    I added a great belt and bubble necklace from ebay. Black peep toe wedges are Bandalinos.  Yes Spring, I'm ready but just easy on the windy, I'm a shy girl!

I WORE A CROP TOP!!!!!

SO DRUM ROLL!!!! I promised myself to take a fashion chance this year.  First with a dress above the knees and now a crop top.   I am pretty proud of myself.  This top was a impulsive online purchase on facebook and I am happy I did it.  I paired this navy stripe top with a pair of denim gauchos I found at goodwill some weeks ago.  I wore my favorite platform sandals from Lucky Brand and bag from Charming Charlie.  Saturday casual is complete.

SPRING VINTAGE FEVER

I have to admit the first thing I remember when I saw this dress at goodwill was how it reminded me of my mother's beautiful style when I was younger.  This dress was perfect!  The shoulder pads were still structured and the shape screamed 70's hourglass shaped diva aka me!

LET PLAY CATCH UP!!!

The past weeks have been C-R-A-Z-Y!   My best friend got married, we are planning a baby shower, work is wonderful, my dream job of shopping for others is happening everyday, I got a new vehicle and that's about it.   By you we are here really here to catch up on the my love for fashion and looking wonderful as a plus size girl.

This Easter I was dressed by my lifetime stylist, my mom.  She did pretty good if I say so myself.  The dress is the ASOS Curve Midi dress short sleeves.  I love how this dress touches every curve  and make it perfection.  The tweed jacket is a $6 find at JCP.  I have told you, DO NOT SLEEP ON JCP CLEARANCE!  Items changes every other week in there and the clear rack always has a goodie or two.

My dear sweet stylist/mommy

Later that week, I returned home  and found this awesome skirt from a wonderful friend of mine at ReVamped Styles.  She does a awesome job finding items that fit you personality and taste level.  Of course I will be ordering more from her and maybe sharing some of my favorite pics on her site later in the year.  WISH US LUCK!! For now, check out her site ReVamped Style! The best part about this skirt is it a lace print ponte pencil skirt and is wonderful!  I pair it with a simple tank and blazer and the outfit was done. I called this look...BIG HAIR, RED LIPS AND THICK HIPS!

More post coming up!!   I promise myself I will catch up by the end of the night!  Wish me Luck!!
