My Favorite Combo: Stripes and Leopard!

Thursday, March 27, 2014

So let's just get it out there and say it. Yes, My name is Pepper and I am a huge fan of leopard and stripes, but when you combine the two to make a Leopard/Stripe print outfit.........I am a Fanatic!

With that being said, "with great power comes great responsibility"( comic junkie).  I personally feel this rule has to apply when pairing these prints together.  The wisest choice you can ever make is the perfect shade of red, although I have seen this look pulled off nicely with fuchsia as well.

Either way no matter what color you choose, BE CONFIDENT in the strides you take when wearing this because on lookers will stare. Just glance back, flash a smile and leave them wondering.........If they can pull if off too.

Always,
Pep

Blog Inspiration: Polka Dot Lovin for a Curvy Girl

Thursday, March 20, 2014
This week's inspiration comes from Simply Cyn, an absolutely gorgeous blogger from NYC.  I have been following her for about a three months now and finally had a chance to go through her entire blog this weekend and loved everything she wore. It's uncanny how we shared so many similarities, she had to be the "Inspiration" behind today's post.

Geek Girl's Dream

Monday, March 17, 2014
Sooooo last week, we saluted Pi Day for the great minds out there!! That's right, I have a sweet, soft spot for nerds, geeks, comic junkie and techie head.  I also took a trip down memory lane to visit my junior high school, which is now a technical school shaping the minds of our future pi lovers (cue "Ironic")
It was only perfect to do my shoot from this location.

With that being said, a little Vintage Geek because GEEK IS SEXY

The jacket was a great thrift shop find, only $2.50!

I wish I could provide more links to my pieces, but I shop all over the place. The true joy of inspiration it to make it you own style and rock it out!  You may not find my exact pieces, but you will be inspired.

TREND ALERT|Curvy Women in Pantone Spring Colors 2014-Fashion Bloggers over 30+ collaboration

Wednesday, March 12, 2014

With Spring 2014 just weeks away, I have to confess that I'm in love with Pantone's 2014 Spring colors. And to start the spring fashion fun, I was asked to participate in my first blogger collaboration  with some pretty awesome style bloggers of Fashion Bloggers over 30+. The first challenge was to spring into Spring 2014 Pantone colors, curvy women in color.  In the beginning I thought this was going to be so easy....This was no easy task folks. I couldn't help throwing myself into my closet and searching for every tone in this palette.  After I completely ransacked my room and picked myself off the floor (literally),  the beautiful combo of  Sand and Dazzling Blue won me over.
