Baby Doll Chic Now and Later featuring Ashley Nell Tipton

Tuesday, February 24, 2015
Hey There!

Looking for a great dress that will transition well throughout the seasons?  Meet  New Chic Baby Doll by Ashley Nell Tipton.

In case you didn't know, I'm kind of sucker for a great transitioning piece.  The key to finding such an item is easy. Always find a great classic like a black dress and look for one design detail that is trending.

A great knee length fit and flare that works perfect with my hips and thighs. A little detail with the leatherette paneling in the bodice which should never go out of style and a divine ponte material that will work with my travels. Not a bad combinations right?  With these elements, I knew I could wear this now in the winter and definitely keep it out for the spring.

Of course pairing anything with a trench will leave you with a chic sophisticated look.
The vintage bag and trench just provides that extra tre' chic feel to it, don't you think?

For the Spring, toss the coat to the side and just enjoy this fun dress for all occasions in your life.

When I say have some fun in this dress.......
Have a Blast!  I could not stop the urge to twirl in this dress

A Sweet Valentine's featuring Chloe + Isabel

Tuesday, February 10, 2015

With this being the week of Valentine's you can't help but to jump into the traditional theme of wearing red to celebrate love. I knew when I first saw this skirt from Ashley Stewart, I was immediately in love. Many of you know how much I love vintage clothing and the pleating of this skirt truly gave me the vintage feel for these modern times.  These sweet pleats were the inspiration of this post.

I paired this beautiful, wind catching pleated dream with a ruffle tee from old navy that I purchased last year. I finished the look with a my favorite cable knit scarf (old), trench and leopard pumps.
I would wear this for brunch or lunch date.

Another sweet inspiration to this post is the delicate Chloe+Isabel jewelry from Sweet Home Bling.

Meet the Take Hear Collection.  Beautifully crafted pieces that is reminiscent of cupid's arrow.   The set comes in yellow gold and brushed silver.  I love the delicate look of the pieces and the bracelet is my favorite item from the collection.

I am loving this red from ULTA called Glamour.
I think it was the perfect finish to complet my sweet look.
What do you think?

Looking for a color alternative to wear for Valentine's?  Ever thought about wearing Navy? I'm beginning to appreciate this color more in my wardrobe. It can be serious, sexy and fun with the right accessories of course.

This year for Valentine's, I decided to wear my navy dress from Eshakti and make it FANCY SHAMCY with some help from  Sweet Home Bling.

Honestly, this look made me feel like I was ready for a special day with my future beau.....#oneday

Does this dress look familiar?  Did you catch the Tailor Made with Eshakti post? See another way to wear to lovely item.

I am a firm believer of how the right statement necklace can take a look to whole other level.
