When Florals and Stripes Meet featuring Eloquii Mixed Stripe Skirt

Hey Luvs!!!!

So I’m in bit of a mood to share a loving story with you about a plus size girl in love with tropical prints and stripes this season. If you don’t know, I’m a huge fan of mixing prints. It has to be one of my favorite ways to be playful and edgy in my looks.

Now my new love for this tropical print season has my eyes dancing with the colors and imagining tropical getaways. But this love for tropics can only be accompanied by this current obsession with the black and white /monochromatic trend also going on.

So I was thinking… why not mix the two and see what happens?

All I can say is….My Love just got Deeper!

This silk tropical print shirt from BB Dakota was a gift, that has been hanging in the closet since my birthday.   It was such an  accidental moment that created this look. I purchased this skirt from Eloquii with full intentions to wear it with a fun bright tank, but when I was arranging my closet the pieces fell together and the angels singed, "Ahhhhhhhhh"... Do you have this type of moment?

So let me tell you something about this skirt from Eloquii!! Chile.... Get it!! That is All!!  I was a little hesitate about getting into the scuba material life, but this skirt changed my entire mind.  I went down a size because most of the Eloquii items run large in the waist area for me. And since I wanted a  high waist look, I got just that.   Want the skit? Click the link below.

This has to be one of my favorite mixed prints looks to date. I stayed with the base colors of black and white for my print mixing.  There're several rules to mixing prints but I only stick to one in particular which is, “Find your Base Color”. This is the primary color that dominates the pieces.  Once your base color has been established your wardrobe will become endless.

To add a little more edge to the look, I went with my new favorite...My White Moto from JCPenny. Now on Sale!! Click Here

And My Favorite piece from Sweet Home Bling. The Palm Royal Collection is a awesome!

Did you hear? I'm a finalist in the Redbook Magazine Real Style Real omen Contest!! Clink my link to vote for me to grace the cover! And please share! So many wonderful thing have been happening for me lately, I'm felling blessed beyond measure and I want to say thank you all for the love and support!

What's your opinion?
