Transitional Style: Seasonless Dressing with Jibri

Have you welcomed Spring to your door yet?  Here in the South, we have a complicated relationship with Spring.  We may experience a couple days of pure spring weather bliss with temperatures in the upper 70's and then the next day things drop down to the 40's (Yes, this is chilly to a southern girl) and my feeling are officially hurt.  During this time,  I try to keep my wardrobe in transition mode.  Wearing the colors of the season,  but in materials or styles for my current weather. It is always a good thing to build your wadrobe with at least 6 seasonless garments.
(Flashbulb!! This just became a series)

My first favorite is this dress from JIRBI.  Truly one of my favorite designers for sometime now, I own about five beautiful JIBRI pieces and my collection seems to increase every year.  I purchased this dress last year, I wanted to add some new colors to my closet and play with some new designs for work wear. The pencil and full skirt have been my work wear standards and I wanted to switch things up a bit. Thus my selection of the JIBRI Boat Neck Dress in Teal

The first thing I noticed about this dress was the draped structure on the hips.  My first thought was this design would make my lower extremities look more fuller than they already are in reality.
To my very pleasant surprise, the draping provided that extra UMP to my hourglass shape but making my midsection appear smaller and the waist ties are great!

And can I mention for a brief second that this beauty has pockets!!!
Perfection is a dress with pockets. Period.

I can definitely see more ways to wear this in the up and coming seasons.  What do you think?
