I really love the southern charm of the gingham. It's like the sign of summer to me. Time for picnics, rooftop day parties and long summer nights, which was the first thing I thought of with this look.
Every now and then a popular fashion trend floats my way and has me all up in arms. And in the case of dramatic puff sleeves, I'm literally up in arms and loving this ultra-feminine vibe. Right now, it's all about the dramatic puff sleeve. This flirtatious style is everywhere and for all body types. I think this is one of the reasons why I dig it so much. It's Fashion Metro has to be one of my favorite places to get fast fashion pieces that won't break the bank but carries tons of styles. They are all over the United States and did I mention how affordable they are? Like $20 buck for this one.
I decided to go play with the pattern on this one. Polka dots and gingham accessories just seem like a good mix for spring or summer. The bag was an old find from Lane Bryant and the shoes are from Belk's. The distressed jeans have just become one of my weekend favorites, the fit is good and they actually get tight at my ankles unlike countless other I've tried.
This look is a fun look you can go to brunch with your mom or attend a rooftop day party with your girls. Maybe even a summer date night with you bae. So if you are looking for a really cute top, I strongly suggest giving this a try.
