Updating My Denim with Christopher and Banks Everyday Boyfriend Jeans

There was a time when I struggled with just the thought of shopping for jeans.  I think is a problem of the masses sometimes. For me it’s the daily struggle of having thick thighs or in my case 58” of thighs to find a great pair of jeans to accommodate. Many women have this problem; jeans fit in the waist, but not in the legs/thigh area or fit in the legs/thigh area and not in the waist. Of course this is not a new struggle for your girl, it’s just lead me expand my search and be a little more creative with my findings.  It’s about building my own “go to” jean catalog; a selection of jeans I know will fit my 58” thighs without much of a struggle.  A couple of my favorites are Bandalino’s Mandie CollectionLane Bryant’s Genius Fit Collection and my closet faithful, Everyday Jeans from Christopher and Banks.

Since I’ve been working with the Christopher and Banks brand, I’ve experience a whole new kind of love for denims. I’m now wearing denim more often and exploring new ways to maintain my signature style with this new friend. See other ways I've worn my CJBanks denim (here and here).  The latest edition to my collection is the Everyday Boyfriend Jean.  A great relaxed fitting pair of jean that offers endless style options.Take a look and I styled these new classic with one of my favorite coats.

Style Note: Wearing crop jean with a quarter length jacket or coat is a great way to ad height to a new classic look. The shorter lengths of the jeans and coat elevates your frame when pair with a heel.

Fit Note:  The jeans is very true to size.  If you wan more of a loose look go up a size.  I'm wearing a size 24W.

  2. Well, one important thing short women need to remember while shopping for jeans is to shop by hip size and not by the waist size. A right fitting jean for short women can be one that fits perfect at hips. If it's loose at waist, just get it altered. Also, you must go for long jeans that fits perfectly at your waist and hips and then you can get the height altered for the right fit. Kathy
