Dark Florals: Mixing X Matching for Fall

Hey Luvs,

Happy Labor Day!!! With this being the official "end of Summer", I thought it would be a good time to start talking about Summer trends transitioning into Fall.   I have a couple trends from the summer, that I know I will definitely carry in the fall.  Transitioning the dark floral prints of summer into fall is one of my favorites.
Another favorite from summer is coordinating two piece sets.  Coordinating sets are great wardrobe extenders. You can mix and match them into the seasons perfectly.

I purchased this set from asos.com from the asos Curve collection to wear to a special event. The set was perfect for summer evening event. It was fun, elegant and well fitted, all the things I love when dressing up. The best part about this look was the cost.....UNDER $50!!! It's currently on the clearance. Click the picture to order.  I order the look in a 22 top and 24 bottom.  Like most asos CURVE items, the items do run large but I like my skirts to fall more past my knees to show of the curves.

Here is what the set looks like on me.

Now this post is about transitioning and mixing pieces into a new season.

Look 2
For a quick change into fall, I paired the midi skirt with a sheer sleeve top with a faux fur vest.  This look is perfect for the beginning of fall and it would work for winter with a pair of tights.

Look 3
Another way to play with this set is to take the bardot top and pair it with ankle jeans and pumps for a sexy chic look. I could definitely wear this on a date night or get out with the girls for drinks night.

No matter how you choose to wear this set, it would be a great addition to your closet.  I even had a bonus look with my favorite tee.
